Long Journey of "The Hope Diamond"





The long Journey of the Hope Diamond is full of twist and turns, but somehow managed to escape her cruel destiny. The National Geographic Channel dedicated an hour long history revelation that will be aired on Christmas Eve Dec. 24, 2010 at 9:00 P.M.

Over three hundred years ago, a fabulous diamond was discovered. At the time, it was the biggest blue diamond that had ever been found. Amidst the turmoil of the French Revolution, it vanished in one of the biggest heists of all time. Some believe perhaps this gem became the fateful Hope Diamond.
