Fads come and go, but isn't it nice that classic jewelry never truly goes out of style? The good news is that you can mimic celebrity jewelry without spending a fortune.

Layered necklaces continue to be a popular look. Multiple chains, often strung with charms and beads, are one version of the style. Just as popular are multi-stranded necklaces made from beads of varying shapes, sizes and colors. The necklaces might be ready-made for layering, but don't hesitate to mix and match your own jewelry. Raid your jewelry box and stack a few necklaces around your neck. Do you like the look? Keep experimenting until you do.

Black onyx looks lush combined with any type of metal and nearly over other gemstone. Onyx is popping up everywhere, and I think we'll continue to see more and more of it in jewelry of all types.
